14 inch OLED TV will be mass produced by AUO

The FPD International held at Japan this year has witnessed the rapid growth of technologies.

AU Optronics displayed a 14 inch OLED panel that had full HD resolution. It has been revealed by the company that the OLED panel will so be mass produced.

The 14 inch OLED panel can represent 16 million colors along with a resolution of 157 ppi. The panel has 200 cd/m2 maximum screen luminance with all white signal. It has a bottom emission type panel. The contrast ratio of 100,000:1 and NTSC color gamut of 72 percent also made this full HD resolution OLED panel grab all the limelight at the FPD.

It runs at 120Hz. One capacitor and two transistors are used. A low temperature polycrystal Is-TFT is used as the driver element in this OLED panel. The 1920 x 1080 pixel count and the full HD resolution distinguishes it from most other OLED TVs.
