LG Display demonstrates a brand new AMOLED 15 inch display. It uses the highly efficient LTPS board that is capable of projecting finest images with high resolution.
The movie demo of this new OLED display shows a mallet hitting the OLED panel again and again but leaving the display panel undamaged. This emphasizes the exceptional strength and durability of this 15 inch AMOLED.
On transparent glass substrate LG Display created an OLED coating and gave it the extra protection by covering the back and front with a metal foil (steel sheet) and a resin sealing coat, respectively. This ensures the durability of this OLED panel.
This strong LG Display delivers excellent picture quality with 1,366 x RGB 768 pixels and 105 pixels per inch. The XGA resolution enables the display to project finest images. It also features frame frequency of 120 Hz.
The standard brightness of the LG 15 inch AMOLED display is around 200cd/m2, while it has an outstanding contrast ratio of 100,000:1.
