55 inch LCD from Samsung

LCD screens are still ruling the market but it is estimated that OLED is soon going to supersede LCDs.

The only present issue with OLED displays is that they are still too expensive for production and commercial release. But with the huge amount of work going on in OLEDs we may soon see some fantastic products hitting the market.

In the midst of all this news about OLED, AMOLED, PHOLED etc., Samsung has hit a new high with their 55 inch LCD display with ultra slim bezel. They have created a new record with this new product.

The previous 46 inch LCD display had a gap of 7.6mm. But this new display only has a gap of 5.7mm. There is 3.8mm gap between the top to the left side and 1.9mm gap from the bottom and the right side. This new display panel with 700 nit is ideal for LCD Videowalls.
