AUO is Committed to Produce Larger OLED TVs

In Japan, at the 2010 Finetech the director of AU Optronics OLED Technology Mr. Yusin Lin presented the company’s course of development for wider OLED TV displays.

To fulfill their commitment of producing larger OLED TVs at mass scale AUO have planned to strengthen the AMOLED Team by appointing up to 2,500 fresh employees.

AUO is prepared to construct OLED panels with TFT, TFT structure of NMOS type and IGZO oxide. This advanced technology is capable of reducing the hysteria of heat as in this process the working temperature is restricted up to 300º which is surely less than the heat generated in standard process of crystallizing following the silicon evaporating deposition.

Though AUO have not mentioned anything regarding the time of introducing a large OLED TV to the market the company presented their high end 14 inch OLED TV model at 2009 FPD and have already planned to begin the mass production of this AUO 14 inch OLED TV by 2011.
