No buyers for Nemoptic

Very recently, a new dual mode BiNem/OLED display technology was shown by Nemoptic.

This new display technology is used to combine a monochrome Bistable Nematic LCD with a color OLED. This will allow the stable maintenance of a monochrome image and a color OLED image even there is no power input.

Once it is started with a power input and switches on and later on the power is removed, it does not affect the system.

The sad news is the Nemoptic has now declared bankruptcy. The reason for declaring the bankruptcy is attributed to the fact that the company could not find a single buyer for their Bistable epaper displays.

We will need to wait and watch whether any of the potential buyers gets interested and pulls out Nemoptic from the doldrums. Till then we will keep our fingers crossed and wait. Stay tuned for further updates the moment we have any.
