CNet Tries to Find out Which is Better: AMOLED or LCDs

CNet has mailed a fascinating video shows the tests they conducted in order to find out which performs better, the AMOLED displays or the LCDs.

In their tests CNet found that though AMOLEDs produce better color these displays lack in accuracy. The observation also shows that AMOLEDs are less visible in sunlight while the Super AMOLEDs give a better performance under the sun.
Other interesting tests are also done by various organizations for judging and comparing the sunlight visibility of AMOLED and LCDs. These tests have also shown the LCDs as the most accurate and efficient displays.
Super AMOLEDs comes next and their superb performance brings them closer to the LCDs.
While reading about these tests and results and watching the videos of these tests people should keep one important thing in mind that the comparisons are done between LCDs used in small devices (mobile devices) and AMOLED displays used on small mobile gadgets. The small AMOLEDs lack color accuracy because of the PenTile matrix.

CNet conducted tests to compare AMOLEDs with LCDs and found out that LCDs are the best displays while Super AMOLEDs come second in performance.
