DuPont some few days ago unleashed new printable material of OLED.
The company has now come up with a new claim which shatters all past records. DuPont boastfully says that it is capable of printing 50 inch OLED TV within a span of 120 seconds or 2 minutes.
This miraculous task is being accomplished with the use of Dainippon Screen, a kind of custom made printer which has been bought by the manufacturing company.
Dupont has been working in collaboration with Dainippon Screen in an attempt to devise multi-nozzle printer which can be used for novel inks. The Dainippon printer works by generating incessant flow of ink, rather than the drops.
The flow of the ink is quite decent and it travels about 4 to 5 meters every second. With this speed the Dainippon printers by patterning a display. The DuPont for high performance in OLED or Organic Light Emitting Diode displays received award as well.
