eMagin’s OLED Microdisplay

The display has a brightness of 100 cd/m2 but consumes 200mW under normal working conditions. OLED display has been used by eMagin to improve contrast and enhance pixel uniformity. This Microdisplay has an on-chip temperature sensor which has gamma and luminance compensation.
According to eMagin, the Microdisplay can be used for a variety of purposes including simulation for video and mobile entertainment, tactical awareness, night vision, medical imaging and training and thermal imaging.
