The demand for LCD TVs has exceeded the supply. The manufacturers of LCD panels and TVs are striving very hard to meet the high demands from China for high quality LCD technology.
Experts are of the opinion that the high demands for LCD TVs might slow down the production of OLED TVs. The focus on improving the LCD TVs will bring OLED TVs to the backburner.
However, contrary to the analysis, several OLED manufacturers have announced the launch of their next OLED panels. LG is selling their 15 inch OLED TV in Korea from December.
Samsung has revealed that their much awaited 31 inch OLED TV is ready to go into production. There have been several announcements from Sony about the launch of their 21 inch and 27 inch OLED TVs.
The demand for OLED panels for making these OLED TVs are also high. But OLED manufacturers also manufacture LCD TVs and developing both the technologies is not a cake walk for them.
