Haier shows their 22 inch transparent OLED TV at IFA 2011 Berlin

During the IFA 2011 event at Berlin Haier showcased their new 22 inch transparent OLED TV.

This slim, transparent OLED TV has a metal bezel and the resolution is 1680×1050 pixels. As per Haier, this new display is aimed toward the advertising market.

The panel used in this OLED TV is made by Samsung Mobile Display. Since this is just a prototype model there is yet no information about the availability and price of the product.

It may be noted that Samsung Mobile Display had showcased some transparent OLED panels during CES 2011.

The IFA 2011 in Berlin was attended by 238,000 visitors, an increase of 3%. They saw products on display in an area covering 140,200 square meters from 1,441 exhibitors, an increase of 1%.

Some of the latest products in the display industry were showcased during the event. The total value of orders placed during the event topped €3.7 billion.
