Headhunting on at AUO

There is good news for the job market. AU Optronics is planning to hire big for their core business of producing LCD panel, OLED television and photovoltaic business.

As of now, AUO is looking to hire as many as 2,500 employees in 2010. This is certainly great news after all the not so distant turmoil in the international job market.

AUO is looking at hiring people both from Taiwan and overseas. Fresh college graduates as well as experienced personnel are on their radar. There is also need for managers to supervise the entire production process. People are needed at every level to boost the production.

OLED televisions and OLED panels have found a large market worldwide and this domain looks good in the market. Taking a cue from AUO, other companies may also decide to go big on the personnel side. Let us all keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best.
