Home automation from Intel with 11 inch OLED screen

Based on their very own Atom processor, Intel has introduced the new concept of a home automation system.

The 11 inch OLED display has been added to the home automation system to enhance its efficiency.

Intel architecture has been used to combine software compatibility, home networking support and computing performance in creating the home automation system. The Intel Home Dashboard Concept has utilized an 11 inch OLED display, much like the XEL-1 OLED TV from Sony.

The OLED screen supports finger tip control. Information like internet access, clock, temperature, home security, personal messages, weather and utility cost are displayed on the OLED panel.

The home automation system is Wi-Fi enabled and uses the Zigbee home area networking. It has video camera support as well as motion sensor support. The 11.56 inch OLED display saves energy and the touch screen feature makes navigation easier.

The Intel System Controller Hub US15W has been used in the system with open software API.
