Jason Bruges Studio Uses Philips Lumiblades to Design Mimosa an Enchanting Artwork

Jason Bruges Studio of interactive designers in London has presented the video and photographs of their astonishing artwork Mimosa which is commissioned for the Superstudio Piu Milan 2010.

The Jason Bruges Studio is famous for using the technologies and materials in a highly innovative way to explore the communication with the environment and people.

The Jason Bruges Installation Mimosa features Philips Lumiblade OLED light panels. Bruges Studio has employed individual OLED panels to create the delicate petals of flowers and responding to the presence of the viewers each petal flatters out and folds up and the intensity of every single OLED panel becomes faint as it folds up.

This stunning artwork is an imitation of the plants of the Mimosa family. Mimosa plants can change kinetically in order to suit the environmental condition in which they survive.

Jason Bruges loved to work with Philips Lumiblade OLEDs and the ultra slim look and wonderful even light of these OLEDs have made the Mimosa stunningly beautiful.

The London based Jason Bruges studio showed the beautiful pictures and videos of their fantastic artwork Mimosa which is built with Philips Lumiblades.
