A larger OLED TV might be launched by Sony

The TV business of Sony has been suffering lately owing to reasons more than one.

One of the hurdles in the way is Sony’s dependence on Samsung for the panels. The company is well aware that it can taste greater success if they can manufacture its own panels by using innovative technology.

An executive from Sony has revealed that the engineers are facing technological issues while making OLED TVs. However, the company plans to upgrade to its new OLED TV, presumably the KDL-ZX.

Some claim that Sony’s new secret TV technology will give rise to a more power efficient and affordable OLED TV. The technology used for making OLED TVs will be improvised so as to produce larger OLED TVs in the near future.

The new line of large OLED TVs is being prioritized over the pilot production line. The production of the later has been stopped owing to the high percentage of loss suffered by the company.
