After creating ripples in the world of televisions, cell phones, cameras and lights, OLED technology is set to take on a new genre – wallpapers.
It has been revealed that Toshiba is working toward making homes glow with the power of OLED technology. Previously we had witnessed super -slim OLED screens that could be rolled up for convenience.
Now, we are about to witness ultra thin sheets of OLED screens adorning our walls.
Toshiba has accepted the challenge of providing ceiling-to-floor OLED wallpapers to make your home a batter place to live in.
The OLED wallpapers will double up as large television screens besides being used as wallpapers with changing themes and colors. Toshiba will resort to nanotechnology to create these OLED wallpapers that are different from the traditional OLED displays.
The OLED wallpapers will have similar power consumption as that of OLED TVs. But how expensive will OLED wallpapers be, we are yet to learn.
