The future Lenovo laptops may have OLED displays.
A Lenovo marketing manager, David Critchley has said that the company will employ a 15 inch OLED display for a slim version of ThinkPad T500.
It is also heard that the world renowned PC maker has ordered a consignment for the touch panels of 12.1 inch for supporting multi-touch. And these panels can easily become the base for the tablet pc which will have touch screen.
Lenovo will be considering these plans on the basis of the market demands. But the progressive development of OLED technology and the big companies like LG developing OLED displays which can be used in laptops made it quite obvious that Lenovo’s plan can soon get materialized.
According to another top manager of Lenovo the company might also provide a brand new processor for the 13 inch ThinkPad X300 update. This will help in reducing the energy consumption by being the solution of the Intel CUL V series.
