The LG EL9500 unveiled at the ISE 2010

LG showcased its 15 inch AMOLED TV known as EL9500 at the ISE this year.

This OLED panel will be launched in the U.S. by the middle of this year. The cutting edge picture quality and the larger screen size make EL9500 score over Sony XEL-1. LG Display pointed out that the panel is water resistant. This ultra slim OLED panel is as light as feather.

The EL9500 can be mounted on the wall or placed on the stand. The mega contrast ratio and the new paradigm ratio result in jaw dropping picture quality. This OLED TV by LG will be the first of its kind to have true HD resolution.

The EL9500 has a resolution of 1366×768 pixels and 0.01 ms response time. With a contrast ratio of 100000:1 and 440 cd/m2 brightness, this is one OLED panel to watch out for. Till late 2009, the LG EL9500 has been the highest selling OLED TV in South Korea.
