Major players displaying their OLED panels

Some of the major manufacturers of OLED panels showcased their existing and upcoming models in various events around the world.

Even though LCDs are still ruling the market it will be very soon that OLEDs are going to steal the thunder.

One of the models on display was the Samsung prototype of their 14 inch qFHD 3D OLED TV. The name of this product is Crosstalk Free. It is the first OLED display to feature the qFHD technology. This technology has a resolution of 960×540 and a contrast ratio of 100,000:1.

The design is ultra slim and the color gamut is more than 100% NTSC. Samsung also displayed two other 3D prototypes in 14 and 20 inch at the Las Vegas CES-2010.

In the same CES-2010, Sony managed to show some amazing picture clarity in its 24.5 inch 3D panel. In the same event LG displayed their 15 inch EL9500 OLED TV. The same product was shown at ISE-2010.
