OLED TVs have ushered in a new era in the television industry.
This technology will be further developed by some leading companies like Plextronics Inc. and Novaled AG. Plextronics Inc. manufactures organic links for electronic devices and printed lighting, while Novaled AG deals in the production of OLEDs. They have announced a joint collaboration for the development of advanced OLED materials.
Both Plextronics Inc. and Novaled AG will employ their specialized skills to manufacture solution processible Hole Injection Layer (HIL) technologies that will be helpful for OLED panels.
The HIL material will combine the organic dopant technology by Novaled Ag and the organic conductive ink technology by Plextronics Inc. This new material will be used with vacuum deposited small molecule emitters and solution processed polymers.
The HIL material will be a part of the PIN OLED technology by Novaled. The power of HIL material will have the same power as the long lasting and power efficient Novaled doped small molecule.
