NHK Science & Technology has improved its OLED panel resolution four times with its new flexible OLED panel that is powered by OTFT technology.

This new prototype from NHK Science & Technology is a vast improvement on its last prototype. The technicians at NHK Science & Technology believe that this new product will launch a new dimension in the world of OLED technology.

This new OTFT technology powered OLED panel has its screen size of 5 inches and a 320×240 QVGA pixel count. It also has a screen resolution of 80 ppi. This new OLED panel with its 318 m2 wide pixel has the red, green and blue (RGB) sub pixels transversely arranged. The frame frequency of this OTFT technology powered OLED panel is 60 Hz.

Along with NHK Science & Technology, Sony also unveiled its new OTFT technology powered rollable OLED display that was showcased for a few days.
