OLEDNet Predicted Future of OLED Market for 2010-2016

Recently OLEDNet has issued a market forecast for the OLED products to be launched between 2010 and 2016.

The forecast chiefly focuses on the plausible launches of various OLED products by the prominent OLED developers within the next few years.

OLEDNet predicts that Samsung will launch a 5″ and a 7″ AMOLED in 2010, and rumors are hard that in August 2010 Samsung will introduce new ‘S-Pad’ which features a 7 inch Super AMOLED display.

LG Display plans to develop 3.5 inch WVGA AMOLED panels for high end mobile phones, 2.7″ AMOLED to be used in digital cameras, and 4.3″ OLEDs for the portable TVs.

The OLEDNet forecast also suggests that during 2010 Toshiba Mobile Displays will start producing AMOLED small panels.

It also adds that number of leading electronic lines including Matsushita, Toshiba and Hitachi will possibly introduce new televisions with 20 to 40 inch OLED panels within 2011. The AUO AMOLED mass production is also expected to begin by 2011.
