Performance of 155-inch OLED TV from Mitsubishi

The 155-inch OLED panel from Mitsubishi Electric has been one of the most awaited things ever since it was announced at the CEATEC 2009.

The video showing the huge 155-inch panel has now been released online by Mitsubishi.

Mitsubishi managed to produce this magnanimous 155-inch OLED panel by putting together several small OLED units. These smaller OLED units are of about 10 x 10 cm square.

The brightness of the OLED panel is three times more than the usual liquid crystal display TVs. The company believes that they can make OLED panels of any size using this system.

There is no limit to the size of OLED panels that can be made by Mitsubishi. These large OLED panels will be used as monitors in public places and for digital signage.

These are perfect for advertisements. It has been remarked by a company executive that an entire city can now be covered by a large OLED panel.
