Philips showcases Lumiblade OLED lighting panels

The 100% Design Fair, to be held in London between the 24th and 27th of September 2009 will witness a larger Lumiblade OLED lighting panel by Philips.

The Lumiblade panels displayed at Milan a couple of months back were smaller than the ones to be displayed in London.

Philips has chosen the 100% Design for showcasing this product as it is one of the biggest fairs of contemporary interior design in the world.

Visitors and exhibitors from all across the globe turn up at the fair to bring together the best and most innovative designs in accessories, lighting and furniture. 100% Design is organized in association with the London Design Festival.

The Lumiblade technology by Philips has ushered in a new era in lighting. The OLED panels are not only energy efficient but are also interactive and has very high color contrast. These panels are flat, light transparent.

The interactive lighting panel will open up numerous new lighting applications.
