Promising OLED Panels from DuPont

DuPont has been experimenting with OLED displays for quite some time now. Recently DuPont has presented their new OLED panels with greater longevity.

The longevity of OLED panels has been troubling manufacturers, who are striving hard to overcome the issue.

DuPont has come up with red light emitting material that has a current efficiency of 13cd/A and a life of 62,000 hours. The blue light emitting material has 38,000 hours luminance half-life.

The best invention so far has been the green light emitting material that can serve for as long as 100 years and has current efficiency of 25cd/A.

The new OLED material developed by DuPont Displays Inc will be used for coating processes. Being the third generation OLED materials of the company, the blue light emitting material has the longest life among its kind.
