Range of New Age products in display at CES-2011

OLED Association, along with its partners, demonstrated the next generation OLED lighting panels and flexible AMOLED panels on metallic foil during “The Digital Experience!” at CES-2011.
 
Novaled demonstrated 5 inch transparent OLED lighting panels on glass and a flexible 4 inch diagonal AMOLED panel built on metallic foil. Universal Display showcased white 6×6 inch lighting panels and LG Display showcased their 15 inch AMOLED TV. This TV is not the previous EL9500 and comes with a 15 inch high efficient WOLED panel.
 
The Samsung Mobile Display booth showcased the prototype of the 19 inch qFHD transparent AMOLED panel for TVs and monitors. This is the world’s first and largest transparent AMOLED display prototype. They also showed 4.5 inch WVGA flexible AMOLED display which offers the world’s highest flexible display resolution.
 
We’ll wait to see when all these new age products hit the market on a commercial basis and consumers are offered purchase options.
