Rave reviews for OLED TVs for Samsung and LG

The panel thinness, the fast refresh rates, the contrast and the colors of OLED TVs certainly impressed consumers are reviewers at CES-2012.

Samsung and LG certainly caught a lot of praises with their 55 inch OLED TVs.

The CNET “Best of CES” Award went to LG. CNET announced that they found it very hard to choose between Samsung and LG but to them LG seemed to be a better finished product and hence the award went to LG.

Samsung Super OLED TV also got its share of rewards – Popular Science Best of CES 2012, G4 TV Best of the Best Products, Stuff Magazine CES Hot Stuff Award and the Best of CES Innovations 2012 in the video display category.

As far as LG is concerned, it seemed to attract more praises as Engadget, The Verge and Gizmodo all praised their 55 inch OLED TV. Samsung Super OLED TV was considered the best by Slashgear.
