Real Translator prototypes unveiled by SMD

CES-2011 saw another new product when Samsung unveiled their two prototypes of transparent OLED displays.

This new prototype by Samsung Mobile Display gives us a rather fair idea of what can we expect in future out of transparent AMOLED displays.

One of the prototypes, the Real Translator, is a fantastic gadget indeed. It consists of a transparent AMOLED screen that can help two people, standing face to face, interact even when they speak two different languages.

As one speaks, the speech gets translated into the language of the other and gets typed on the screen. The reply will be similarly translated and displayed in the language of the first person. This multi-lingual translator also features a voice recorder.

As per Samsung Mobile Display, the Real Translator is ready to be mass produced and we may very well see the product in the market not too far away in the future.
