Recent Rumors: Samsung Tablet Will be Called Galaxy Tape and Not Tab

Last month Samsung has introduced the 7 inch tablet with the catchy name Galaxy Tab.

It uses the TouchWiz User Interface while functioning on Android OS. This has definitely a high resolution 7 inch TFT screen and a headphone jack of 3.5mm. The videos available on Samsung tweeter show that you can certainly use this Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 as your giant phone.

Samsung did not reveal much about the phone’s feature except that they will launch the Galaxy Tab P1000 during the FIFA World Cup in South Africa.

Later we heard more interesting rumors about the latest Samsung Tablet. A Vietnamese website has reported that Samsung will name their upcoming tablet as Galaxy Tape in stead of Tab.

This site also included that the Samsung Galaxy Tape will have some astonishing features including the 7 inch Super AMOLED and 2.2 Android. The light weight (just 370 grams.) device will also have an A8 processor of 1.2 GHz, a fabulous microSD slot and an internal memory of 16 GB.
