Samsung Super OLED TV at CES-2012

Samsung and LG’s impressive new technology using OLED is all set to end the debate between plasma and LCD TVs.

CES-2012 saw both the companies unveil their OLED large screen TVs.

Samsung scorched the eyes with the vividness of their 55 inch Super OLED TV. Unlike the bulky bezels of the previous flat panel TVs, this one uses extremely thin bezel to send the pictures reaching the farthest corners and offers near frameless pictures.

The on-screen color reproduction is the killer when it comes to OLED TVs. Color reproduction makes the colors ultra vivid and make them look more real than real. The fast moving objects are also seen in an incredibly fluid motion. Samsung also showcased TVs with built-in microphones and cameras.

LG also showcased its incredibly thin 7.6 mm OLED TV.

The battle is on between these two giants with Samsung announcing a release sometime later in 2012. Yes, the cost will set you back by about $5,000.
