The 3D OLED display showcased by Samsung Display Mobile at the CES 2010 is as thin as 1.6 mm.
This 14 inch prototype is the biggest 3D AMOLED panel from the house of Samsung. The technical specifications of the OLED screen have not been revealed by the company.
However, it is being expected that the 3D OLED display will not be launched before 2013. By the time it will be launched, the size might increase. OLEDs might also become affordable in the next 3 years.
3D images get brighter with OLED technology. The idea of watching 3D on a paper thin screen is very enticing. The Samsung 3D OLED panel is the first OLED display with full HD resolution of 960×540.
With over 100 percent NTSC color gamut and a contrast ratio of 100,000:1, the Samsung 3D OLED panel is one of the most eagerly anticipated models. It provides outstanding image quality and exceptional brightness.
