Samsung unveils Galaxy S II

Samsung Mobile Display unveiled their latest smartphone Samsung Galaxy S II during the Samsung Mobile Unpacked 2011 event.

There was a lot of press presence during the event where Samsung talked about some of the latest innovations in their newest product. The premise for the event was “picture quality is more important than pixel”.

The Samsung Galaxy S II is the world’s slimmest smartphone. It measures 8.49 mm and weighs only 116 grams. Some of the features of the new smartphone include a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED display with Dual Core Processor and HSPA+ up to 21 Mbps. This device provides 18% more sharpness with an improved pixel structure and Real Stripe Matrix.

The reaction time is 0.01 ms and power consumption is also 18% less. This smartphone has a powerful 1650 mAH battery.

Samsung declared that this device has the best display among all the existing smartphones in the market.
