Samsung’s new model no. seems to be out

Samsung has recently issued a press release where they published information about some of the awards that were won by their Super OLED TV.

This press release mentions the model number of the TV as KN55ES9000. Samsung, by the way, showcased their 55 inch Super OLED TV at CES-2012 and managed to stun one and all.

The press release said of one award, “Best of CES Innovations 2012″ in the Video Displays category — International CES.”

Another one says like this, “Samsung’s KN55ES9000 is a beautiful masterpiece of accurate color reproduction and maximized performance. It provides a suite of advanced Smart TV features with a high performance dual core chipset.”

So it safe to assume that KN55ES9000 is going to be the official model number for Samsung’s Super OLED TV and this is the one that they are going to use. However, there is no certainty about this yet because there has been no official declaration.
