Sixteenth HD1080 versus OLED

The display resolution of Sixteenth HD1080 has the same aspect ratio and one sixteenth the area of a high definition TV resolution of 1080 line.

The Sixteenth HD1080 displays can be used in portable media players. These media players are suitable for scaling down content of HD1080. The compression and decompression of images is easier with Sixteenth HD1080 because the pixels are produced in multiples of 8×8.

Usually these displays are made up of 272 rows of pixels. The Sixteenth HD1080 has 1920 x 1080 pixels, which makes quartering of each axis easier. 

OLED panels are used as television screens or for lightings. These do not require backlight. Organic compounds are deposited in the layers of the OLED panels that contain polymer substances.

The OLED panels use a specific printing process to deposit the organic compounds in rows and columns. All television manufacturers have joined the OLED bandwagon. The versatility of the technology has opened up several new avenues in the television and lighting industry.
