Small Molecule-based OLED Materials from Merck Livilux

In Frankfurt At the forthcoming LOPE-Convention 2009 Merck KGaA is going to present the current developments in inventive printing applications and organic electronics.

Merck, the LCD industry leader, is highly experienced and capable in developing OLED-based materials; be it the smarter small molecule OLEDs or the high performance POLEDs. Merck has manufactured wide range of OLED products based on the existing and developing OLED technology.

OLED technology has revolutionized the concept of viewing television and has helped in developing powerful lighting devices like the general space enlightening device. Merck as being the leading OLED material manufacturer provides a compact range of materials for lighting applications of OLED under its own brand Livilux.

Now Merck Livilux adds a whole new set of OLED products based on small molecule. The fresh set of Hole Transport Materials and electron make the OLED displays and other OLED-based lighting applications exceptionally energy efficient by lowering the voltage. These new range of materials are ideal for large scale production where for powerful processes fat layers of materials are essentially required.
