New Tablet with Google Chrome on its way?

Are Verizon and Google together planning a Tablet containing Google Chrome?

Some of our contacts from Download Squad have come up with some info from HTC that there indeed is going to be this Tablet with Multi-touch Display, 1280x720p and Google OS. The display technology is probably going to be LCD-TFT.

The simple reason is that Samsung Mobile Display will probably not have the bandwidth to deliver enough OLED panels to HTC. Samsung Mobile Display already has a 98% share of OLED panels.

Download Squad has heard through tips that HTC is building something for Google – a Tegra 2-based Chrome OS Tablet that will include 2GB RAM, GPS, webcam, wireless connectivity with 3G Radio and 32GB expandable storage.

The launch date is supposedly going to be November 26, Black Friday. Apparently there is a plan to offer this device at a free subsidized rate or at an extremely cheap cost. This does make sense.
