Tohuku Device has new licensing agreement with Eastman Kodak

Eastman Kodak have announced their new licensing agreement with Tohuku Device.

Tohuku Device has plans to use the organic display technology of Kodak in white OLED modules to be used for backlit displays. Tohuku now joins 15 other companies that have already tied up with Eastman Kodak for using the license of their organic display technology.

This new license, which is royalty bearing, will enable Tohuku Device to use the organic display technology of Eastman Kodak for OLED backlit displays in various flat panel display applications. It also includes a cross license to the patent portfolio of Tohuku Device.

This agreement also allows Tohuku Device an opportunity to purchase the patented OLED materials of Kodak. These patented OLED materials can be used in various manufacturing display products.
