Imagine a TV as thin as a paper and that can be folded and carried in the wallet!
It is no more a science fiction now. The scientists at the Universal Display Corporation has already developed ultra thin TV displays by implementing the OLED technology. At the UDC lab organic molecules are produced and then compressed into metal foils or plastic sheets which are then invigorated to emit light or depict finest color images.
The Universal Display Corporation has used OLED technology on transparent window glasses which can emit bright light at night. As the UDC OLED technology enables to compress several pounds into a few ounces it can dramatically change the future of all machineries including the heavy military equipments.
The UDC OLED TV uses only 1/4th of the energy used by any LCD TV. The UDC OLED TV display delivers wider viewing angle, faster operation and brighter images than any high definition LCD TV.
