VP of Merck OLED Updated on Company’s Progress on the Green, Red & Blue

Recently, in an interview Dr. Heider expressed his satisfaction on the excellent job of the Mercks’ development team and said that they have made rapid progress in developing the solution-processable OLEDs and have got fruitful results as well.

Heider said that in a process of spin coating Merck has already achieved to bridge up almost completely the gap between the solution and the phosphorescent green materials created in evaporation process. And now the company is all set to work with the prominent display and process manufacturers to see how successfully these materials can be produced in mass scale and can be implemented in practical fields as well.

Heider has also added that the knowledge the company have acquired while working on the Green components will now help them to deal with the issues of Red and Blue more confidently which will eventually increase the scope for OLED materials.
