Winstar video compared OLED and STN

Winstar recently launched a video where they compared between standard STN displays and OLED displays.

Through this comparison video Winstar showed the advantage their OLED displays have over other displays. We already know that OLEDs are better and the video did reinforcement.

The first advantage is the faster response time that an OLED panel has. It also has an unlimited viewing angle up to 175 degrees. These panels are also extremely thin and are self emitting, i.e. they don’t need any backlight. The brightness is very high and ranges from 500 to 2,000 cd/m2 with a contrast ratio up to 2,000:1.

The operation temperature is also very high and at the same time the power consumption is low. Someone operating these OLEDs will be able to reduce at least 2.4 Kg CO2 emission per year. Last but not the least; these OLED panels also give their users the option to use the Sunlight Readable Technology.
