Sony takes the OLED TVs one step further with the wireless OLED TV.
The 11 inch OLED TV is powered by a battery and can be mounted on the wall. Just when everyone was thinking that the XEL-1 is the best thing in the world of OLED televisions, Sony launched its wireless version.
The cordless XEL-1 is 3 mm thin and has an integrated HDTV tuner. It has a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 and a resolution of 960 x 540.
Sony has not revealed any launch date and price for the much-awaited wireless OLED TV. The wireless OLED TV is slightly different from the XEL-1.
The tuner is now situated behind the screen instead of the bottom. Although this does not make the OLED TV as stylish as the XEL-1, it is more practically done. This makes the XEL-1 still hold on to its place as the thinnest OLED TV in the market.
